Hi, I’m Lenny…

I’m a Vancouver-based fingerstyle guitarist. You can find me playing around the lower mainland at hotels, restaurants, corporate events, and weddings.

I pride myself on delivering a great atmosphere through instrumental renditions of your favourite pop, R&B, and jazz tunes on the guitar. Creating a full and unique sound, I offer a professional experience with a personal touch.

Though 90% of my waking hours consist of playing music, the other 10% are typically spent hitting a new PR at the gym, collecting an obscene amount of hot sauces, cooking, or exploring the city.

I didn’t grow up playing music. I started guitar out of sheer boredom at 12 years old, though I barely touched it for many years. As I got older, I felt more and more drawn to the instrument until suddenly I was practicing four hours a day. That’s when I knew it was more than a passion, I wanted it to be my career.

I was accepted to the Selkirk College music program where I flourished and played in bands of all genres. Once I graduated, the race was on to figure out how to make a living. I did everything from playing in bands across Vancouver, to touring with a Celine Dion/Michael Buble tribute band through the eastern US and lower mainland.

Five years ago I mustered up the courage to challenge myself with fingerstyle guitar. Needless to say, I fell in love and doors started to open. A couple of years later I had my ‘a-ha moment’ when I played my first wedding.

To this day, practice is a daily effort, as I know it will be until I’m old and my hands can no longer hold a guitar.
